Having the chance to travel the world and see all of the wonders that our beautiful earth has to offer isn’t an opportunity that comes to many. However, you may find yourself wondering where to go and what to do next. With so many choices, we understand that it can be difficult to choose, so that’s why we’ve compiled a list of travel experiences that you should consider having in 2019 and that are still on our bucket list!
The Northern Lights
Being one of the most breathtaking and natural wonders of our earth, it’s no wonder that so many people flock to Iceland, Finland, and Sweden to catch a glimpse of this absolute beauty. Why not buy yourself a tent or hire a campervan so that you and your closest friends and family can lie underneath the stars and take in the beauty of the Northern Lights? Don’t forget to take your camera so that you can capture every moment and relive your experience over and over again!
One of the world’s more under-appreciated spots, we feel. However, Tanzania has a plethora of incredible sites and experiences to offer, yet it’s not very often you hear about it. https://www.kandooadventures.com/ offer guided safaris to see some of the incredible wonders that the wildlife displays such as the great wildebeest migration. You can also enjoy balloon safaris over the Serengeti and bask in the glory of all of the wildlife below. Without a doubt, Tanzania is a travelling experience that you need to have in 2019!
We know that Christmas has literally just been and gone, but there’s something so magical about going to Lapland to visit Santa! Even though next Christmas is quite some time away, why not plan a visit to Lapland so that you can experience cosying up in log cabins, drinking hot chocolate (or perhaps something stronger!), and travelling around using huskies and a sled? It’d certainly be something to look forward to for next Christmas, and it’s well worth the wait too! If you’ve got children, it’s the perfect way to make Christmas even more magical for them too!
The Wall of China
Finally, we all know that the Wall of China was built to fend off invaders from the north, but have you ever considered visiting in this day and age? With just over 13 miles of wall to walk along, and incredible views along the way, it’s most definitely an experience worth booking for yourself. Why not learn some Chinese too to help navigate through the cities of China and of course, the great Wall of China! It’s a fantastic way of showing respect to the country you’re visiting, all while feeling like you’re one of the locals!
